My working life covers more than 25 years across leadership, communication, marketing, insights and evaluation, technology and AI, organisational development, events, partnerships and communities. I have led companies, built teams and services, advised leaders through change, worked closely with data and measurement, and built communities that outlasted the events that started them.
Both sides of the table
As an employed leader I carried the budget, the board conversation and the consequences of the decision. As a consultant I am brought in to help with exactly those situations. That combination shapes how I work, and gives me a clear idea of what makes outside support genuinely useful rather than merely well presented.
Why the breadth matters
Communication questions turn out to be organisational questions. Measurement questions turn out to be leadership questions. AI questions are about people and competence long before they are about tools. Somebody has to look across all of it and ask what these things mean together.
Who I work with
Private, public and member-led organisations. The sector matters less than the situation: change, growth, a complex decision, new technology, a communication challenge, a measurement question, or an event or partnership that should create real value.
